WHAT TO EXPECT

When you visit our clinic, you can expect a warm welcome, a comfortable environment, and personalized attention from our experienced team. We’ll take the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and guide you through every step of your treatment for a smooth, stress-free experience.

What to wear if receiving hands-on manual medicine, shockwave, or injection therapies:

It is best to wear loose-fitting clothing, such as exercise attire. Please avoid jeans and rough materials as these make it more challenging to treat especially for osteopathic manipulation treatment (OMT). You will remain fully clothed throughout the exam and treatment. Our physicians may incorporate diagnostic ultrasound for the area evaluated. You can bring appropriate clothing, or we can give you a disposable gown.

Initial Visit

Your initial visit is scheduled for 55 minutes. This includes a review of your intake form, medical issues, history, physical exam, and treatment. History intake will include a review of concerns, prior medical care, medical history, surgical history, and traumas. A physical exam may include a review of head, ears, eyes, nose, throat, heart, lungs, abdomen, extremities, neurologic assessment, musculoskeletal exam, and possible ultrasound examination. Please bring your credit card, valid picture ID, related lab results, imaging reports, and disc with images.

Follow-Up Visits

A standard OMT (osteopathic manipulation treatment) follow-up visit is scheduled for 30 minutes. It will start with a re-evaluation of motion and restriction followed by treatment. Injection follow-up visits without treatment are generally 30 minutes or less. Injections visits may be longer per doctor's discretion. Subsequent shockwave treatments are 15 mins for 1 body region.

What to Expect After Your Treatment

OMT, nerve injections, laser, and shockwave cause a variety of experiences following a treatment. Some notice changes immediately, while others may notice changes taking place that continue to improve over the next two to three days. It is possible to feel more tired or sore on the second or third day following a treatment as the body reorganizes itself to a healthier state.

Prolotherapy, PRP, and other orthobiologic injections often cause soreness, swelling, and bruising. You may receive suggestions or a prescription for pain control depending on the injection.

Appointments and Fees

Weekday and evening appointments are available. Contact our office to schedule house-call visits.

All fees are collected at the time of the visit. We do not bill your insurance directly. You will receive a receipt and a super bill, which you can submit to your insurance company. Plans may reimburse for part of your payment.

Please note: We do not accept insurance.

For first-visit appointments, a credit card is required to hold your booking. It will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.

After booking, you will receive an email with a link to complete the New Patient Intake Forms. Please complete these forms 48 hours prior to your visit, as they are required for your appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Because we provide unhurried, individualized care and do not double-book patients, we ask that any changes to your appointment be made with at least 48 business hours (2 business days) notice.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged the full office visit fee, which is to be paid by the patient and cannot be billed to insurance.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise and appreciate your courtesy in letting us know as early as possible so we can offer your time to another patient.
