He is an invited national and international lecturer in two medical fields, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Prolotherapy Musculoskeletal Injections. He is a published author in multiple peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and has published a clinical manual on osteopathic treatment techniques. He continues to teach students and providers of all levels.

Dr. Nourani is a clinician, educator, and researcher. Past positions include Medical Director for Inpatient Integrative Health at UCI and Osteopathic Program Director of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
Dr. Nourani’s specialized training includes osteopathic treatments of newborns, pregnant, post-operative, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and general hospitalized patients. He has spent over 5500 hours honing his skills, training with top osteopathic and musculoskeletal regenerative physicians throughout the U.S., and attending numerous advanced courses. Prior to medical school, Dr. Nourani worked full-time at the Osteopathic Center for Children as assistant to Dr. Frymann in San Diego, CA. He has assisted the medical team of the AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Association, performing osteopathic manipulation on countless professional athletes, including U.S. Olympic Gold Medalists.
Doctor Nourani sees many complicated cases of all ages. Every patient is thoroughly evaluated to formulate an individualized treatment plan that may include nutrition, exercise rehabilitation, mindfulness, osteopathic manipulation, injection therapies. Dr. Nourani adds in-office ultrasound imaging for both diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic injections.
