DR. Rob Knight

Dr. Rob Knight is a board-certified physician specializing in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He brings extensive experience caring for diverse patient populations and is dedicated to a holistic, prevention-focused approach to health. Dr. Knight completed his medical education at Des Moines University and advanced residency training in both Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor, helping train the next generation of physicians. A San Diego native and lifelong martial artist, Dr. Knight integrates principles of discipline, balance, and mindfulness into his patient-centered care.

These varied experiences have shaped his holistic, prevention-focused philosophy, which emphasizes comprehensive and compassionate care.

Recently returning to his hometown of San Diego, Dr. Knight is committed to serving his community with an integrative approach to health and wellness.

In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Knight is an accomplished martial artist and an instructor of traditional Chinese Kung Fu. He incorporates the discipline, balance, and mindfulness from his martial arts practice into both his medical work and daily life, enriching the care he provides to his patients.
